The Abraxas voting system facilitates all aspects of data collection. This includes the gathering from a hand held device, analysis and the reporting of results from the information gained from voters.
The voting system consists of a central server and an optional number of mobile voting units. The central server controls the voting activity and mobile units and will record and save all data. The mobile units connect via a wireless connection. Every person who is voting has their own device with a touch screen.
The mobile unit enables the voter to have all of the information sent from the server on the touch screen. The voter places their vote by using the touch screen and selects a suitable answer or defines a number of points.

Collecting and preparing data
The information, which is needed for voting, can be loaded from different sources or you can put them in by yourself. Data can be imported from other information system or applications. Data, which has already been entered, can be organized (by the system) into the appropriate format in preparation for voting. Data can be put into category, code, competition layout, or other similar groups.

The voting questions are displayed on the touch screen. The voter can give their opinion by pressing the screen via a wireless device. The voter's opinion then transfers from the mobile device to the central server’s database.

Analysis and representation outcome
After the voting has been completed, the system processes the collected data and presents the information either using graphs or by exporting the information onto other applications such as Excel or Powerpoint.
An optional number of votes, selection of applicants and general rules, can be defined and the results are used in calculating the results.
The system notes each voter's answer, calculates, organizes and arranges the results by defined rules or criteria, voters’ opinions or categories.
Adaptability
The adaptability of this system makes it possible to show different reviews of voting questions and also makes it possible to watch how the results change whilst voting is still taking place. The format of the answers can also be changed to show as pictures, buttons, test or notes.
The system is recommended for the collation of voting, formulation of questionnaires, quizzes, competitions, appraisals, etc.
