Preparing data and data storage construction

In business intelligence storage is very important phase preparing data, which are later written into our data storage.
Data about business come from different sources, which do not have equal structure and can not be written in data storage. That is why data have to be put out of source from different sources and their structure must be checked.
With transformation are data changed into shape that is suitable for data storage.
At the end are data ready to be written into data storage. Time and field (size) of writing, overwriting and adding data is very different and depends on organization and her needs.

Reporting system can be made on Microsoft Reporting platform or on our own, it depends of client's needs. Our own reporting system was used in bank branches because of bigger number of chances by exports in schedule settings. The system includes also demands of the Bank of Slovenia.

Introducing of OLAP (Online Analytical Processing), execution of OLAP cubes

In complex of business intelligence we could find also OLAP, which enables execution of quick analyses of stored data, where has user big flexibility by defining reviews and filters. User can define his own report. Systems OLAP are good for better analysis on selling, marketing, financial and other fields in company.
To make quick analysis or report is needed efficient inquiries but classical relation bases are not so good at that, because if you have a lot of data, searching becomes very slow. To avoid these kinds of problems, data can be converted in special shape, OLAP cube, which enables quick search and analysis of saved data.

Data Mining

Data mining is for users who are searching for legality of their business based on data from past decades. It helps to find out connection between client's attributes (education, level of education, ...) and sorts of products for which he was already asking.
